How Artham Finometry is paid, and what that means for you

Artham Finometry Private Limited is an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor. When you invest through us in the Regular Plan of a mutual fund scheme, the asset management company pays us a distribution commission. This page sets out those rates in full, scheme by scheme, so that you can see them for every competing scheme we distribute — not only the one under discussion.

  1. A.1

Commission plays no part in how we select schemes

Scheme selection at Artham Finometry is governed by our proprietary evaluation framework, which assesses schemes on portfolio quality, risk-adjusted performance, drawdown behaviour, portfolio fit, cost and fund-house stewardship. Commission differentials form no part of that assessment. This page exists so that you can verify that for yourself.

  2. A.2

Trail only — there is no upfront commission

Every rate on this page is a trail commission, expressed as a percentage per annum. It is calculated on the average assets you hold in the scheme and paid to us monthly, for as long as you remain invested. No upfront commission and no upfronted trail is paid by any AMC.

  3. A.3

    Why this disclosure exists

Clause 11.5.6 of the SEBI Master Circular on Mutual Funds dated 20 March 2026 — carried forward from SEBI Circular No. SEBI/IMD/CIR No. 4/168230/09 dated 30 June 2009 — requires a mutual fund distributor to disclose to the investor all commissions payable to it across the different competing schemes of various mutual funds. This page is that disclosure.

  4. A.4

The commission is paid out of the scheme’s expense ratio

The AMC pays us from the Total Expense Ratio already charged to the scheme and disclosed in its Scheme Information Document. It is not an additional charge levied on your investment, and no amount is deducted from your subscription or redemption on account of commission.

  5. A.5

Additional incentive for B-30 and new women investors

Under Clause 11.6 of the same Master Circular, a distributor may receive an additional incentive of 1% of the first application amount, capped at ₹2,000, for onboarding new individual investors from B-30 cities and new women investors. It is paid only after one year from the date of allotment, is not available on ETFs, overnight, liquid, ultra-short and low-duration schemes, and cannot be claimed twice for the same investment.

  6. A.6

Rates change, and AMCs may revise them retrospectively

Each AMC sets its own structure and revises it periodically, usually each quarter. Rates are linked to the scheme’s Base Expense Ratio, which itself moves with scheme size, so an AMC may revise a rate — including on assets already held — without prior intimation. The effective period stated against each AMC below is the period for which that structure was issued to us.

  7. A.7

Ask us for a scheme-specific disclosure at any time

You may request a written commission disclosure for any specific scheme, or for a set of competing schemes, at any point before or after you invest. We will provide it without charge.
